We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing engineering team. You will be responsible for the people, processes, and technical outcomes of your team — coaching engineers, setting direction, removing blockers, and ensuring delivery of high-quality software. You are as passionate about people development as you are about building great products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers through regular 1:1s, coaching, and feedback
  • Own team delivery — planning, prioritization, and execution of the engineering roadmap
  • Partner with product managers and designers to align on vision, scope, and trade-offs
  • Set and uphold high standards for engineering quality, reliability, and security
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tooling, and practices
  • Hire and retain top engineering talent — sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Manage team performance clearly and fairly, supporting growth and addressing underperformance
  • Represent engineering priorities and progress to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3+ years of engineering management experience, leading teams of 4 or more engineers
  • Strong technical background — hands-on software engineering experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engineers at all levels
  • Experience working in Agile environments and running engineering planning cycles
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Track record of delivering complex software projects on time and at quality
  • Ability to balance technical leadership with team management responsibilities

Nice to Have

  • Experience scaling engineering teams from 5 to 15+ engineers
  • Background in distributed systems or full-stack development
  • Experience managing remote or distributed engineering teams
  • Exposure to architecture reviews and technology strategy
