Hotel Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our property and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee all departments, manage a team of hospitality professionals, and drive revenue, quality, and guest satisfaction targets. You are a natural leader, commercially astute, and passionate about creating memorable stays for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel departments including front desk, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, and concierge
• Lead and develop a team of department heads and frontline staff
• Drive guest satisfaction scores and resolve complaints with professionalism and empathy
• Manage hotel revenue through pricing strategy, occupancy optimization, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and food hygiene regulations
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, and P&L performance
• Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and OTA partners
• Maintain brand standards and oversee property presentation and maintenance
• Recruit, train, and retain high-quality hospitality talent

Requirements

• 5+ years of hotel management experience, including departmental or general management
• Demonstrated track record of achieving guest satisfaction and revenue targets
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Commercial acumen — experience managing hotel P&L and revenue performance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of hotel property management systems (Opera, Mews, or similar)
• Thorough understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene compliance requirements

Nice to Have

• Hospitality management degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Experience with branded hotel groups or franchise properties
• Revenue management experience and familiarity with OTA platforms
• Languages relevant to the guest demographic
