Overview

We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team and fuel our new business pipeline. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification, setting up meetings for Account Executives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who wants to grow fast.

Responsibilities

  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Qualify inbound leads and respond to all inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Research target accounts to personalize outreach and identify the right contacts
  • Articulate our value proposition clearly and handle objections confidently
  • Book qualified discovery meetings and demos for the Account Executive team
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot)
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly activity and meeting targets
  • Collaborate closely with AEs and marketing to refine messaging and sequences

Requirements

  • 1+ years of sales, customer-facing, or relevant business development experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High energy, resilience, and a positive attitude in the face of rejection
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume outreach cadence
  • Coachability and eagerness to learn and implement feedback
  • Familiarity with sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft, or Apollo)
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated drive to exceed targets

Nice to Have

  • Previous SDR or BDR experience at a SaaS company
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Knowledge of the HR tech or recruiting industry
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies (SPIN, Sandler)
