Frontend Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to build exceptional user interfaces that delight our users. You will be responsible for implementing responsive, performant, and accessible web applications, working closely with designers and backend engineers to bring product visions to life. You care deeply about the craft of UI development and have a sharp eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, production-ready code
• Optimize application performance — Core Web Vitals, bundle size, render efficiency
• Collaborate with designers to maintain consistency with the design system
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for frontend components
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture discussions
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for all features
• Proactively identify and resolve UI bugs and accessibility issues

Requirements

• 3+ years of frontend development experience
• Strong proficiency in React (or Vue/Angular) and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES2020+)
• Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js or other meta-frameworks
• Knowledge of Tailwind CSS or CSS-in-JS solutions
• Experience building or maintaining a design system
• Familiarity with animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP)
