Operations Manager Job Description

We are hiring an Operations Manager to drive operational efficiency and help scale our business processes. You will own cross-functional processes, identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks, and build the systems that allow the company to grow without chaos. You are a structured thinker, a great project manager, and someone who gets things done.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational inefficiencies and lead process improvement initiatives across the business
• Own and optimize key business processes — tracking, reporting, tooling, and automation
• Manage cross-functional projects from planning through to execution and measurement
• Build operational dashboards and reporting systems to give leadership clear visibility
• Evaluate and implement operational tools and technology to increase efficiency
• Partner with finance, HR, sales, and product teams to streamline operations
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts for operational services
• Develop and document operational policies, procedures, and playbooks

Requirements

• 4+ years of operations or business operations experience
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to deliver complex initiatives
• Analytical mindset — comfortable building and using data to drive decisions
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, Notion, or Jira)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Nice to Have

• Experience at a high-growth startup or scale-up
• PMP certification or Lean/Six Sigma training
• Familiarity with SQL for data analysis
• Experience with ERP or operational systems implementation
